87-115 - 11-04 Tax Forfeited Property SaleResolution 87-115 November 4, 1987 Member Bakken introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR TAX -FORFEITED PROPERTY SALE WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley has received from the County of Hennepin a list of lands in said municipality which became the property of the State of Minnesota for non-payment of Real Estate Taxes, which said list has been dated October 9, 1987; and WHEREAS, the parcel of land described in said list has heretofore been classified by the Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin County, Minnesota as non -conservation land and the sale thereof has heretofore been authorized by said Board of County Commissioners; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council, acting pursuant to Minnesota Statute 282, that the said classification by said Board of County Commissioners of the parcel of land described in said list as non -conservation land, be and the same is hereby approved, and that the sale of the parcel of land be and the same is hereby approved, as follows: PID 31-118-21 32 0012 LEGAL Commencing at the Northwest Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, thence South 618 feet, thence North 83 degrees 41 minutes East 335 58/100 feet to the actual point of beginning of land to be described, thence continuing North 83 degrees 41 minutes East 136 42/100 feet, thence North 2 degrees 04 minutes West to center line of Watertown Road, thence Westerly along said center line to a line running North 2 degrees 04 minutes West from point of beginning, thence South to beginning, except road, except State Highway. r Mary E. J Na y, Deputy ity Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy City Clerk.
