87-119 - 11-17 Accept Plat GuerreResolution 87-119 November 17, 1987 Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF PLAT - GUERRE WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as Guerre, covering the following described tract of land: That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 118 North, Range 21 West of the 5th Principal Meridian described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of said section; thence East along the north line of said section 730 feet; thence South parallel with the west line of said section 424.73 feet to an intersection with a line parallel with and 15 feet north of the northerly right of way of the Minneapolis Industrial Railway Company (formerly Minnesota Western Railway Company); thence westerly parallel with the northerly line of said right of way to the west line of said section; thence North along the west line of said section 404.92 feet to the point of beginning, according to the government survey thereof. WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original of said plat and to do all other things necessary and proper in the premises.
