088-036 - 05-17 Ordering Construction of Public Improvements 88 SI 5 Resolution 88-35 �1ay 17, 198� Member Thompson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: �ESOLUTION ORDERIPJG CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEP1ENTS 88 SI 5 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golc�en Valley, h1innesota, as follows : 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 7:30 PM, at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the City of Golden Valley, P•linnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by 1a4�, this Council has consulted the view of all persons interested, and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public improvements for the said City, in accordance wwith the description of said improvements container� in said notice, except as follows: none. 2. It is hereby found and determined that said public improver�ents are feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report and not in connection with some other improvements. (The Council reserves the right to consolidate said improvernents with other public improver�ents if it seerns advisable to do so.) 3. The cost of said improvements shall be paid in part out of special assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 4. The City Engi neer is hereby designated as engi neer for the construction of sai� proposed public improvements, and is hereby authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvements and submit the same to the City Council for a�proval at the earliest possi�le date. �.-�" � �� � � � P�ary E. erson, layor ATTEST: u y Nal y, eput City Clerk e motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Stockman and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adoptecl, signed by the �layor and her signature attested by the Deputy City Clerk.
