RESOLUTIOhd ENTERING INTO Afd AGREEME��T WITH r1nDOT AND
HEPJP�EPIN COUNTY FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE INSTALLATION
APJD OPERATION OF A TRAFFIC COPJTROL SIGNAL ON C.S.A.H.
66, TRUNK HIGHWAY 100/TRUNK HIGHI�JAY 169
BE IT RESOLVED that the City oi` Golden Valley enter into an agreement with
the State of f�innesota, Department of Trans�ortation for the following purposes,
to wit:
To install a new traffic control signal with a street light and interconnect
on County State Aid Highway No. h6 (Duluth Street) at the Trunk Highway fdo.
lOC�/Trunk Highway PJo. 169 West Frontage Road; remove the existing traffic
control signals and install new traffic control signals 4�ith street lights
and interconnect on Trunk Highway Plo. 100/Trunk Nighway P�o. 169 East and
West Ramps at County State Aid Nighvray PJo. 66 (Duluth Street) in accordance
with the terms and conditions set forth and contained in Agreement No.
64560, a copy of which was before the Council .
gE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officers be and hereby are
authorized to execute such agreement, and thereby assume for and on behalf of
the City all of the contractual obligations contained therein.

The notion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by f-1ember
Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution �vas decla red duly
passed and adopted, signed by the �1ayor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.
