088-067 - 07-05 Ordering Construction of Public Improvements 88 SC 1 Resolution 88-67 July 5, 19II8 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF C ERTAI N PROPOSED PUBL IC IP1PROUEP�IENTS 88 SC 1 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That at a public hearing held on this day at 7:30 PM, at the address of 7800 Golden Valley Road in the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, after notice of said hearing duly published as required by law, this Council has consult ed the view of all persons interested, and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine to proceed with the construction of certain proposed public improvements for the said City, in accordance with the description of said improvements contained in said notice, except as follows: none. 2. It is hereby found and determined that said public irnprovements are f easible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report and not in connection with some other improvements. (The Council reserves the right to consolidate said improvements with other public improvements if it seems advisable to do so. ) 3. The cost of said improvements shall be paid in part out of special assessments to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing. 4. The City Engi neer is hereby designated as engi neer for the construction of said proposed public improvements, and is hereby authorized, orde red and instructed to prepare final plans and specifications for said improvements and submit the same to the City Council for approval at the earliest possible date. ��` '!��' � o '' ,'� Mary E. nderson, Mayor ATTEST: � P J y Nal y, Deputy 'ty Clerk e motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the �layor and her signature attested by the Deputy City Clerk.
