088-098 - 11-01 Authorizing Certain State Owned Houses in GV for Training Purposes Resolution 88-98 November 1, 1988 Member Thompson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GOLDEN VALLEY PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTP�ENT TO USE CERTAIN STATE 06dNED HOUSES IN THE CITY OF GOLDEN VALLEY FOR TRAINING PURPOSES 4JHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley Public Safety Department has requested the Golden Valley City Council to authorize the use of a state owned structure within the City of Golden Valley for the purpose of drilling or otherwise utilizing for department training; and WHEREAS, the Golden Valley Department of Public Safety has obtained permission from the State Department of Transportation for the use of the structure for training contingent upon authorization for such use by the Golden Valley City Council ; and WHEREAS, the Golden Valley Public Safety Department has requested the Golden Valley City Council to authorize the use of a state ov�ned structure for training purposes through December 15, 1988; and WNEREAS, the subject property is located at 500 South Lilac Drive within the City of Golden Valley. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Golden Valley hereby authorizes the use of the subject structure by the Golden Valley Public Safety Department for training purposes through December 15, 1988.
