hlember Bakken introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COUNTY BOARD TO IMPOSE
CONDITIONS ON TNE SALF OF SAID TAX FORFEIT LANDS AND
TO RESTRICT TNE SALE TO OWNERS OF ADJOINING LANDS
WHEREAS, pursuant to hlinnesota Statutes, Chapter 282, the City Council
conveyed back to the County Board land for sale and a public auction;
4JHEREAS, the City wishes to restrict and condition the sale of the lands
hereinafter described to bring them into conformance with City ordinances and
land use goals; and
NOW, THEREFORE, this indenture, made this 18th day of October, 1988, between
the City of Golden Valley, a governmental subdivision of the State of Minnesota,
as party of the first part, and the State of Minnesota, as trustee as hereinafter
set forth, as party of the second part;
1. The County Board is hereby requested to impose conditions on the sale of
the following described lands, and is further requested to sell such
land only to owners of lands adjoining at a non-public sale so that said
lands will be combined for tax and land use purposes and will comply with
City ordinances and regulations:

Commencing at the PJorthwest Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter, thence South 618 feet, thence North 83 degrees 41
minutes East 335 58/100 feet to the actual point of beginning of land to
be described, thence continuing North B3 degrees 41 minutes East 136
42/100 feet, thence North 2 degrees 04 mi nutes West to center 1 i ne of
Watertown Road, thence bJesterly al ong said center 1 i ne to a 1 i ne runni ng
North 2 degrees 04 mi nutes LJest from poi nt of begi nni ng, thence South to
beginning, except road, except State Highway.

Reason For and Conditions to be Imposed:
Non-buildable, undersized lot to be sold to and combined with adjoining
properties.

2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby autho rized and directed to release
the aforementioned lands for sale, subject to the County irnposing the
aforestated conditions and the lien of special assessments on said lands.

he motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, 6akken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson, and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the �layor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.
