088-117 - 12-20 Establishing Municipal State Aid Street, Jersey Ave Resolution 88-117 December 20, 1988
Member Thompson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTIOP� ESTA6LISHING �1UNICIPAL STATE AI� STREET,
JERSEY AVENUE, FROP1 LAUREL AVENUE TO GLFNWOOD AVENUE
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that
the street hereinafter described should be designated a C�unicipal State Aid
Street under the provisions of Plinnesota Laws, Chapter 162;
PJOW, THEREFORE, gE IT R�SOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley that the road described as follows, to-wit:
Jersey Avenue, from Laurel Avenue to Glenwood Avenue
be, and hereby is established, located, and designated a rlunicipal State Aid
Street of said City, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Highways of
the State of �1innesota.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City is hereby autho rized and directed to
forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways
for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said
street or portion thereof, that same be constructed, improved and maintained as
a ��unicipal State Aid Street of the City of Golden Valley.

Stockman and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Playor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.
