Member Bakken introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RECONVEYANCE OF
REAL PROPERTY TO THE STATE OF MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley (hereinafter "City") acquired tax
forfeited land from the State of Minnesota on May 9, 1980 described as
Lot 44, Auditor's Subdivision No. 360, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter
"Premises"); and
WHEREAS, the Premises can be used only for public transportation, park and
ride facility; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of
Golden Valley (hereinafter "HRA") desires to acquire the premises for a non-public
sale for redevelopment purposes; and
WHEREAS, the redevelopment would take place in 1990-1991.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City that:
1. The Premises be reconveyed by the City to the State of Minnesota on the
condition that the State of Minnesota authorize and release the premises for sale
to the HRA for a non-public sale for redevelopment purposes.
2. That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the deed of
reconveyance to the State of Minnesota.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the Deputy
City Clerk.
