Member Thompson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT
VACATION IN PLAT OF GLENWOOD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due
notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the vacation of certain
drainage and utility easements located within the Plat of Glenwood, City of
Golden Valley; and,
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley that said portions of certain drainage and utility easements as described
below be, and the same hereby are vacated, except at otherwise indicated below:
Drainage and utility easement over, under, above and across the North 10
feet of Lots 147 and 175, including vacated alley; the South 15 feet of
Lots 148 and 174, including vacated alley; all in Glenwood, reserving
however a temporary easement for drainage and utility purposes, over said
premises so vacated until the Sanitary Sewer is relocated or June 1, 1991,
whichever occurs first;
Drainage and utility easement lying over, under, above, and across vacated
8th Avenue North, shown in the plat of Glenwood;
Drainage and utility easements over, under, above and across the following
vacated alleys:
Beginning at the South lot line of Lot 143, Glenwood and extending
North to the North lot line of Lot 153, Glenwood, and
Beginning at the South lot line of Lot 168, Glenwood and extending
Northerly to the North line of Lot 161, Glenwood.
Drainage and utility easements, if any, over, under, above and across the
vacated alley lying South of the South lines of Lots 143 and 179, Glenwood,
between Indiana Avenue North and Meadow Lane North.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor or City Manager is authorized to exe-
cute and deliver any deeds necessary to effectuate the within vacations.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Bakken and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
. thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City
Clerk.
