Member Thompson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
• RESOLUTION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF PLAT - GOLDEN VALLEY CIVIC CENTER
P.U.D. NO. 56 2ND ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due
notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed amended
Planned Unit Development Number 56 and a plat made a part thereof to be known as
Golden Valley Civic Center P.U.D. NO. 56 2nd Addition covering the following
described tracts of land:
The East 40 feet of Lot 38 except the North 100 feet, front and rear thereof,
"Auditors Subdivision Number 360, Hennepin County, Minnesota", according to the
plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Registrar of Titles in
and for said Hennepin County. Also that part of the S.W. Quarter of the N.W.
Quarter of Section 32, Township 118, Range 21 lying East of said Lot 38, between
the Easterly extension of the North and South lines of said Lot 38, except the
North 100 feet, front and rear thereof and lying West of the West line of Lot 31,
Auditors Subdivision No. 360 as shown on GOLDEN VALLEY CIVIC CENTER P.U.D. NO. 56.
The East 40 feet of the North 40 feet of the following described tract or parcel
of and: That part of the S.W. Quarter of the N.W. Quarter of Section 32,
Township 118 North, Range 21 West of the 5th. Principal Meridian described as
follows: Commencing at a point on the West line of said S.W. Quarter of the
N.W. Quarter of Section 32 which is 512.6 feet South along said line from the
Northwest corner thereof; thence East parallel with the North line of said S.W.
Quarter of the N.W. Quarter 283.4 feet; thence South 264.4 feet to a point which
is 282.7 feet East of the West line of said S.W. Quarter; thence Southerly
123.75 feet to a point which is 32 rods North of the South line of said S.W.
Quarter of the N.W. Quarter; thence West 159.1 feet to a point on the West line
of said S.W. Quarter of the N.W. Quarter which is 272.7 feet South of the point
of beginning; thence North 272.7 feet to the point of beginning. Also that part
of said S.W. Quarter of the N.W. Quarter of Section 32 lying East of said North
40 feet, and between the Easterly extension of the North and South lines of said
North 40 feet and lying West of the West line of Lot 31, Auditors Subdivision
No. 360 as shown on GOLDEN VALLEY CIVIC CENTER P.U.D. 56
The East 40 feet of that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter,
Section 32, Township 118, Range 21, described as Commencing at d point on the
West line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter which is 448.7 feet
South along said line from the Northwest corner thereof; thence East parallel
with the North line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter 283.4
feet; thence South parallel with the West line of said Southwest Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter, 63.9 feet; thence West parallel with the North line of said
Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter to the West line of said Southwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence North along the West line of said
Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter to the point of beginning, according
to the Government Survey thereof.,
All of Lot 1, Block 1, GOLDEN VALLEY CIVIC CENTER P.U.D. NO. 56, except that
part embraced within the North 100 feet front and rear thereof, of Lot 38,
Auditors Subdivision Number 360, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
That part of Lot 1, Block 1, GOLDEN VALLEY CIVIC CENTER P.U.D. NO. 56 embraced
within the East 40 feet of the North 100 feet front and rear thereof, of Lot 38,
"Auditors Subdivision Number 360, Hennepin County, Minnesota".

WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and
approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and
instructed to sign the original of said plat and to do all other things
necessary and proper in the premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City
Clerk.
