90-51 - 08-07 Establish Rentention of City Council Video TapesResolution 90-51 August 7, 1990 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: • RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POLICY FOR THE RETENTION OF CITY COUNCIL VIDEO TAPES • WHEREAS, the Golden Valley City Council meetings are taped for cable - casting; and, WHEREAS, the resulting video tapes are used as a general reference but not required to be kept as an official record of the meeting; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that City Council meeting video tapes will be retained for a period of two years from the taping date, and the tapes reused or erased after said two year period. ary E. derson, Mayor ATTEST: Sfflirley rMton, Gity Glerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
