Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
• RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POLICY FOR THE
RETENTION OF CITY COUNCIL VIDEO TAPES
•
WHEREAS, the Golden Valley City Council meetings are taped for cable -
casting; and,
WHEREAS, the resulting video tapes are used as a general reference but not
required to be kept as an official record of the meeting;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley that City Council meeting video tapes will be retained for a period of
two years from the taping date, and the tapes reused or erased after said two
year period.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Johnson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City
Clerk.
