Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING MANNER OF CONSTRUCTION
92 SI 2
BURNTSIDE DRIVE, LORING LANE TO WOODSTOCK AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the
above proposed public improvement construction and has presented such plans and
specifications to the Council for its approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley:
1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved.
2. That the City Clerk shall prepare an Advertisement for Bids for making
such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published as required by statute, shall specify the work to be done and
shall state the time and place that the bids shall be opened and considered by
the City Engineer and City Clerk, and that no bids will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the Clerk.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Thompson; and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Bakken, Stockman and Thompson; and the following voted against the
same: Johnson, Russell; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk.

MOVED by Russell, seconded by Thompson and motion carried to reconsider the
street improvement for 92 SI 2 - Burntside Drive, Loring Lane to Woodstock
Avenue. Council Member Johnson voted no.
