Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION CORRECTING RESOLUTION 91-69 AUTHORIZING
THE ACQUISITION BY PURCHASE OR CONDEMNATION
OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR
STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO
WINNETKA AVENUE FROM HAROLD AVENUE TO ORKLA DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley is cooperating with Hennepin County in
the reconstruction of Winnetka Avenue from Harold Avenue to Orkla Drive; and,
WHEREAS, under an agreement with Hennepin County, the City will acquire the
right-of-way necessary to undertake this project; and,
WHEREAS, the Golden Valley City Council adopted Resolution 91-69, A
Resolution Authorizing the Acquisition by Purchase or Condemnation of Certain
Real Property for Street Right -of -Way for Improvements to Winnetka Avenue from
Harold Avenue to Orkla Drive, on July 16, 1991; and
WHEREAS, a correction to the description of Parcel No. 12 of Exhibit A of
the aforementioned resolution is necessary in order to provide for the acquisi-
tion of access rights at three locations on the easterly side of the property
adjacent to Winnetka Avenue;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Golden
Valley, Minnesota that Project Parcel No. 12 of Exhibit A of Resolution 91-69
Authorizing the Acquisition by Purchase or Condemnation of Certain Real Property
for Street Right -of -Way for Improvements to Winnetka Avenue from Harold Avenue
to Orkla Drive is hereby corrected by substituting the description attached as
"Correction No. 1 to Exhibit A, Resolution 91-69."

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Johnson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Bakken, Johnson, Russell, Stockman and Thompson; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City
Clerk.
