Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION RESTRICTING PARKING ON PORTIONS OF TENTH AVENUE NORTH
WHEREAS, the City Council has the power and authority, pursuant to Chapter
9.06, Subd. 2 of the City Code, to designate no parking zones and areas, and it
appears that no parking zones should be created on certain portions of Tenth
Avenue North.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Golden
Valley that no parking shall be permitted anytime on both sides of Tenth Avenue
North between Boone Avenue North and a point located 1,000 feet West of the cen-
terline of Decatur Avenue North, with the following exceptions:
I. Parking permitted on the North side of Tenth Avenue North between a
point located 138' East of the centerline of Decatur Avenue North and a
point located 121' West of the centerline of Boone Avenue North.
2. Parking permitted on the South side of Tenth Avenue North between a
point located 1000' West of the centerline of Decatur Avenue North, and
a point located ASR' West of the centerline of Decatur Avenue North.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Johnson; and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Bakken, Johnson, Russell, Stockman and Thompson; the following voted
against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk.
