Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SUBRECIPIENT
AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR THE URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley has executed a Joint Cooperation Agree-
ment with Hennepin County for the purpose of participating in the 1993-1994
(Year XIX) Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County is the recipient of an annual grant from the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development for purposes of the program and the
City is a subrecipient under the program and receives a share of the grant; and
WHEREAS, program regulations require that the City and County execute a
Subrecipient Agreement which sets forth the specific implementation processes
for activities to be undertaken with program funds.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Golden Valley City Council hereby authorizes and
directs the Mayor and City Manager to execute Subrecipient Agreement on behalf
of the City.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following was absent:
Russell, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his
signature attested by the City Clerk.
