93-092 - 12-07 Street Vacation Turners CrossroadResolution 93-92 December 7, 1993 Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption, as amended: RESOLUTION FOR STREET VACATION PORTION OF TURNERS CROSSROAD WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published with respect to the subject matter hereof and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing in the interest of the public that a portion of a street be vacated; and WHEREAS, in the best interest of the public, a perpetual drainage and utility easement 66 feet in width remain in place of the street at said location; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that, effective March 15, 1994, a portion of street known as Turners Crossroad, described below, which lies within the corporate limits of the City, is hereby vacated: That portion of Turners Crossroad platted as Lots A, C, and the west 33 feet of Lot D, Land Survey No. 106, Hennepin County, MN; and the south 238 feet of Turners Crossroad as platted on the Colonnade P.U.D. No. 53, Hennepin County, MN; all portions of said Turners Crossroads lying north of the northerly line of Interstate Highway No. 394. AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a perpetual drainage and utility easement 66 feet in width be reserved over the entire length of said street vacation. ATTEST: Shirley J N so , City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Russell and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Bakken, Russell and Thompson, and the following voted against the same: Johnson and Thompson; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk.
