Member Thompson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ALLOWING FOR THE SEPARATE OWNERSHIP OF LOTS 1 AND 2,
BLOCK 1, WESTVIEW BUSINESS CENTER, P.U.D. NO. 25
WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley approved the General Plan of Development
for the Westview Business Center, P.U.D. No. 25 on December 17, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley also approved the Use Permit for
Westview Business Center, P.U.D. No. 25 on December 17, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the Use Permit states under Item D. Subdivision Component that:
Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Westview Business Center, P.U.D. No.
25 shall remain as one ownership. If separate ownership of
Lots 1 and 2 or further subdivision of the parcels is
desired, it would require approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the current owner of Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Westview Business
Center, P.U.D. No. 25 would like to sell Lot 1, Block 1; and
WHEREAS, the owner, Lutheran Brotherhood, has requested by letter to the
City to allow the separate ownership of Lots 1 and 2; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the matter and finds separate
ownership of Lots 1 and 2 to be in the best interest of the owner and the City
of Golden Valley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Golden
Valley that:
1. Separate ownership of Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Westview Business Center,
P.U.D. No. 25 is allowed subject to the conditions of the Use Permit,
and
2. This resolution be kept with the original Use Permit in City files and
filed with an original Use Permit at the Hennepin Cg y Recording
Office.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution a seconded by Member
Johnson; and upon a vote thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Johnson, Micks, Russell, Thompson and Tremere; and the following voted against
the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk.
