RESOLUTIOr� ORDERING CERTAIN PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
AND AUTHORIZING BIDS

JERSEY AVENUE SOUTH (LAUREL AVENUE TO VJESTERN AVENUE)
AND JERSEY AVENUE NORTH (WESTERN AVENUE TO GLEN�JOOD AVENUE)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, as follows:
1 . That a public hearing held on this day at 7:00 P"1, at the address of
7300 Golden Valley Road in the City of Golden Valley, �linnesota, after notice of
said hearing duly publish�d as required by law, this Council has consulted the
view of all persons interested, and, being fully advised of the pertinent facts,
does hereby determine to proc�ed with the cons*ruction of certain proposed
public ir�provements for the said City, in accordance with the d�scription of
said improvements contained in said notice, except as follows:
2. It is herehy found and determined that said public ir�provements are
feasible and can best be constructed as set forth in said report and not in c.on-
nection with some other ir�provements. (The Council reserves the right to con-
solidate said ir�prover�ents with other public improvements if i* seems advisable
to do so. )
3. The cost of said improvements shall be paid in part out of special
assessment to be levied as set forth in said notice of public hearing.
4. The City Engineer is hereby designated as engineer for the proposed
public improvements, and is hereby authorized, ordered and instructed to prepare
final plans and specifications for said improvements and obtain proposals for
the same in accordance with said report except as modified at the Public
Hearing.
5. That the City Clerk shall prepare an Advertisement for aids for
making such improvements. The advertisement shall be published as required by
statute, shall specify work to be done and shall state the time and place that
the bids shall be opened and considered by the City Engineer and city Clerk, and
that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by P4ember
Thompson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Johnson, Micks, Ruszll , Thompson and Tremere; and the following voted
against the sar�e: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk.
