Member Thompson introduced the following resolution and �oved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF PLAT - GOLDEN HILLS WEST 2ND ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due
notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be
known as Golden Hills West 2nd Addition, covering the following described tract
of land:
That part of Govern�ent Lot 3, Section 4, Township 117, Range 21,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as commencing at the intersection
of a line, hereinafter referred to as "Line A", 30.00 feet northwesterly
of and parallel with the northwesterly line of Lot 1, Block 1 , GOLDEN
HILLS WEST ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin
County, Minnesota with a line, hereinafter referred to as "Line B" , 33.00
feet northerly of and parallel with the south line of said Government Lot
3; thence westerly, along said "Line B", a distance of 95.00 feet; thence
northerly, deflecting to the right, 90 degrees 00 �inutes 00 seconds a
distance of 312.33 feet to a line, hereinafter referred to as "Line C" ,
drawn parallel with said "Line B" from a point on said "Line A" distant
346.30 feet northeasterly from its intersection with said "Line B" ;
thence easterly, along said "Line C", a distance of 158.16 feet to a line
distant 40.00 feet westerly of and parallel with a line hereinafter
described as "Line D" and its extensions, said point being the point of
beginning of the land to be described; thence northerly, parallel with
the west line of said Government Lot 3, a distance of 317.47 feet to the
easterly extension of the south line of Lot 9, Block l, MERCHANT'S
INDUSTRIAL PARK, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, thence westerly a distance of 62.88 feet to the southeast
corner of said Lot 9; thence northerly, along the east line of said
MERCHANT'S INDUSTRIAL PARK, a distance of 633.00 feet to the north line
of said Government Lot 3; thence easterly, along said north line of
Government Lot 3, a distance of 390.39 feet to the northeast corner of
said Government Lot 3; thence southerly along the east line of said
Government Lot 3, a distance of 448.88 feet to said northwesterly line of
Lot l ; thence southwesterly, along said northwesterly line of Lot 1 , a
distance of 533.91 feet to the easterly extension of said "Line C";
thence westerly, along said easterly extension of "Line C" and said "Line
C", a distance of 119.67 feet to the point of beginning.
"Line D" is described as commencing at the intersection of said "Line C"
with the east line of the west 362.00 feet of said Government Lot 3;
thence easterly, along said "Line C" a distance of 672.99 feet to the
point of beginning of said "Line D" to be described; thence northerly,
parallel with said west line of Government Lot 3, to the easterly exten-
sion of said south line of Lot 9 and said "Line D" there terminating.
And
That part of said Lot 1 , Block l, GOLDEN HILLS WEST ADDITION lying
northerly of said easterly extension of "Line C"

All that part of Government Lot 4, Section 4, Township 117, North, Range
21 West, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at
the Northwest corner of said Government Lot 4; thence Easterly along the
North line of said Government Lot 4 a distance of 173.3 feet; thence
Southerly and Parallel to the West line of said Govern�ent Lot 4 a
distance of 86.9 feet; thence Southwesterly at an angle to the right of
24 degrees 36 minutes a distance of 416.3 feet more or less to the West
line of said Government Lot 4; thence Northerly along the West line of
said Government Lot 4 a distance of 465.4 feet more or less to the point
of beginning all according to the U.S. Government Survey on file or of
record in the office of *he Regist�r of Deeds in and for Hennepin County.

Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as beginning at the intersection of
a lin?, hereinafter referred to as "Line A" , 30.00 feet northwesterly of
and parallel with the northr�esterly line of Lot 1 , Block l , GOLDEN HILLS
WEST ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County,
Minnesota with a line, hereinafter referred to as "Line B" , 33.00 feet
northerly of and parall�l with the south line of said Government Lot 3;
thence westerly, along said "Line Q", a distance of 95.00 feet; thence
northerly, deflecting to the right, 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds a
distance of 312.33 feet to a line, hereinafter referred to as "Line C" ,
drawn parallel with said "Line B" from a point on said "Line A" distant
346.30 feet northeasterly from its intersection with said "Line B" ;
thence easterly, along said "Line C" and its easterly extension, a
distance of 277.83 feet to said northwesterly line of Lot 1 ; thence
southwesterly, along said northwesterly line of Lot 1, a distance of
346.30 feet to said "Line B", said point being the southwest corner of
said Lot 1, thence westerly, along said "Line B" , a distance of 33.26
feet to the point of beginning.
And
That part of said Lot 1 , Block 1 , GOLDEN HILLS WEST ADDITION lying
southerly of said easterly extension of "Line C".
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and
approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and
instructed to sign the original of said plat and to do all other things
necessary and proper in the premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by P�ember
Russell and upon a vote thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Johnson, Micks, Russell , Thompson and Tremere; and the following voted against
the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk.
