Member Russell introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF PLAT -
GOLDEN VALLEY CENTER ADDITION P.U.D. NO. 65
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice,
has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed Planned Unit Development
Number 65, and a plat to be known as the Golden Valley Center Addition, P.U.D. NO. 65,
covering the following described tract of land:
That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 31, Township 118,
Range 21, lying Northerly of the center line of the right of way of State Trunk Highway No.
55 and Southerly of the center line of Sixth Avenue North except the Westerly 35 feet
thereof and except that part thereof which lies Easterly of the following described line:
Beginning at a point on the East line of said tract distant 487.25 feet North of the center
line of said Trunk Highway No. 55; thence run West at right angles to said East line for a
distance of 45 feet; thence deflect left at an angle of 90 degrees for a distance of 292.02
feet; thence deflect right along a tangential curve having a radius of 36.0 feet for a
distance of 35 feet more or less to the North line of said Trunk Highway No. 55 and there
terminating, according to the Government Survey thereof and situate in Hennepin County,
Minnesota.
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and
the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original of
said plat and to do all other things necessary and proper in the premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member
Thompson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Johnson, Micks, Russell, Thompson and Tremere; and the following voted against the
same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by
the Mayor and his signature attested by the City Clerk.
