RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GOLDEN VALLEY DESIGNATING AN
AREA FOR THE MINNESOTA HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY COMMUNITY
REHABILITATION FUND PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING COMMUNITY ACTION
FOR SUBURBAN HENNEPIN TO APPLY ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley has a desire to maintain the quality of its
neighborhoods and to improve and preserve its single-family housing stock; and
WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley has identified an area of Golden Valley which
could benefit from a focused home rehabilitation loan program; and
WHEREAS, Community Action for Suburban Hennepin wishes to provide home
repair loans through its HOME line housing program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Golden
Valley that the City Council hereby designates the area(s) described below as the
"Designated Area(s)" for the purpose of the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency
Community Rehabilitation Fund Program:
• "All those areas zoned single-family residential."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Golden Valley authorizes Community
Action for Suburban Hennepin to make application to the Minnesota Housing Finance
Agency Community Rehabilitation Fund Program on behalf of the City of the Golden
Valley.
