96-077 - 10-01 Amendment Land Use Map 912 North Lilac DriveResolution 96-77 October 1, 1996 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVELAND USE PLAN MAP RESPECTING PROPERTY AT 912 NORTH LILAC DRIVE WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published with respect to the subject matter thereof and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing in the interest of the public that the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Map as heretofore adopted and enacted by the City of Golden Valley be amended; and WHEREAS, the State Legislature requires that all Comprehensive Plan amendments of local governments in the Twin Cities Metro Area be reviewed and passed on by the Metropolitan Council prior to final adoption. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, that pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 11.90, Subd. 7 of the City Code for the City of Golden Valley, the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Map for the City! of Golden Valley is hereby amended on a contingency basis, subject only to review and approval by the Metropolitan Council, by changing the official land use description of 912 North Lilac Drive from Low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential and the property legally described as follows: . That part of the West 1/2 of NW 1/4 of Section 19-29-24, described as follows: Commencing at a point in the West line of said Section a distance of 1039.5 feet South of the Northwest comer of said Section 19; thence Easterly on a line parallel with the South line of the NW 1/4 of said Section 19, a distance of 586.64 feet; thence Southerly at right angels a distance of 191.22 feet; thence Northwesterly to a point on the West line of said Section a distance of 157.22 feet South of the point of beginning; thence North along the west line of said Section 19 to place of beginning, except such part of said tract as have been taken for road purposes.
