• Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF PLAT
VALLEY CREEK P.U.D. NO. 71
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice, has
heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as Valley Creek
P.U.D. No. 71, covering the following described tract of land:
Lot 1, Block 2, VALLEY SQUARE 2ND ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof.
The east 35.00 feet of the south 530.00 feet of Lot 12, "BUSCH'S GOLDEN VALLEY ACRES
HENNEPIN COUNTY MINNESOTA", according to the recorded plat thereof.
And
That part of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 31, Township 118 North, Range
21 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, lying between the east line of VALLEY SQUARE 2ND
ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota and the
southerly extension of the east line of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said
Section 31, and lying northerly of 6th Avenue North.

That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, Section .31, Township 118,
Range 21, described as beginning at the intersection of the center line of Sixth Avenue North
with the East line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, thence South along said
East line to the center line of the right-of-way of State Trunk Highway No. 55; thence Westerly
along the center line of the right-of-way of said Highway to its intersection with the center line
of Sixth Avenue North; thence Northeasterly along the center line of Sixth Avenue North to the
point of beginning, according to the Government Survey thereof.
And
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 31, Township 118,
Range 21, described as beginning at the intersection of a line drawn concentric with and 150
feet southerly from the northerly right-of-way line of State Highway No. 55, as described in
County Recorder Document No. 3124389 and the following described Line "A"; thence
northeasterly along said Line "A" to the East line of the said Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter; thence northerly along said East line to the northerly line of 6th Avenue
North; thence westerly along said northerly line of 6th Avenue North to the southeast comer of
Lot 1, Block 2, VALLEY SQUARE 2ND ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof,
. Hennepin County, Minnesota; thence westerly along the south line of said Lot 1 to the
southwest comer of said Lot 1; thence southerly in a straight line to the point of beginning.

distant 16.6 feet southerly from the East quarter comer of said, section; thence
northwesterly at an angle of 86 degrees 06 minutes with said East line, measured
from North to West, a distance of 94.5 feet; thence westerly, deflecting to the left at
an angle of 2 degrees 43 minutes, a distance of 700.5 feet; thence southwesterly
335.8 feet along a 6 degree tangential curve to the South, having a central angle of
20 degrees 09 minutes; thence southwesterly, tangent to said curve, 117.8 feet;
thence southwesterly 276.4 feet along a 6 degree tangential curve to the northwest,
having a central angle of 16 degrees 35 minutes; thence southwesterly, tangent to
said curve, 38.1 feet; thence southwesterly 247.5 feet along a 8 degree tangential
curve to the southwest, having a central angle of 19 degrees 48 minutes; thence
southwesterly; tangent to said curve, 191.3 feet; thence southwesterly 270.8 feet
along a 2 degree tangential curve to the northwest, having a central angle of 5
degrees 25 minutes and there said Line "A" terminating.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City council of the City of Golden
Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and the
proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original of said plat
and to do all other things necessary and proper in the premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member and
upon a vote thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
and the following voted against the same: ; whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
