Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF PLAT
VALLEY SQUARE 3RD ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due
notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be know as
Valley Square 3rd Addition, covering the following described tracts of land:
Lot 6, OLSEN MANOR, according to the plat thereof on file or of record in the
office of the Registrar of Titles in and for said County.
And
The Westerly 9 feet of the following described land: That part of Lot 12,
OLSEN MANOR, lying East of a line drawn from a point on the South line of
said Lot 12, distant 42.25 feet West of the Southeast comer thereof, to a point
in the North line of said Lot 12, distant 42.1 feet West of the Northeast comer
thereof, according to the map or plat thereof on file or of record in the office of
the Registrar of Titles in and for said Hennepin County.
! And
Lot 5, OLSEN MANOR, according to the map or plat thereof on file in the
office of the Registrar of Titles in and for Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Lot 1; and That part of Lot 2, lying Northeasterly of a line drawn from a point
on the East line of said Lot, 20 feet South along said line from the
Northeasterly comer thereof to a point on the Northeasterly line of said Lot,
156.2 feet Northwesterly along said line from the Northeasterly comer thereof,
except that part of said Lot lying South of a line drawn at right angles to the
East line of said Lot 1 from a point thereon, distant 27 feet North from the
Southeast comer of said Lot 1, OLSEN MANOR, according to the plat thereof
on file or of record in the office of the Registrar of Titles in and for Hennepin
County.
And
All that part of the following described tract lying South of a line drawn at right
angles to the East line thereof from a point on the East line of Lot 1, distant 27
feet North of the Southeast comer of said Lot: Lot 1, OLSON MANOR; and
that part of Lot 2 lying Northeasterly of a line drawn from a point on the East

Lot 2, except that part of said Lot 2 lying Northeasterly of a line drawn from a
point on the East line of said Lot, 20 feet South along said line from the
Northeasterly corner thereof to a point on the Northeasterly line of said Lot,
156.2 feet Northwesterly along said line from the Northeasterly corner thereof,
and Lot 3, Olsen Manor, according to the plat thereof on file or of record in the
office of the Registrar of Titles in and for Hennepin County.
and
Lot 4, OLSEN MANOR, according to the plat thereof on the file or of record in
the office of the Registrar of Titles in and for said County.
And
is That part of Lot 12 lying East of a line drawn from a point in the South line of
said Lot 12, distant 42.25 feet West of the Southeast corner thereof, to a point
in the North line of said Lot 12, distant 42.1 feet West of the Northeast comer
thereof, excepting the Westerly 9 feet thereof, Lot 13, Olsen Manor, according
to the recorded plat thereof, and situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
And
The North 90 feet of the South 216.4 feet of the East 200 feet of the
Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 31, Township 118, North Range
21, West of the 5th Principal Meridian.

distance of 126.4 feet; thence West along a line parallel to the South l line of

feet; thence South along a line parallel to the East line of said Section 31, a
distant of 126.4 feet to the South line of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast
1/4 of said Section 31; thence East along said last described South line to the

Township 118, Range 21 lying Northerly of the center line of the right of way
of State Trunk Highway No. 55 and Southerly of the center line of Sixth
Avenue North, except that part thereof which lies Easterly of the following
described line: Beginning at a point on the East line of said tract distant
487.25 feet North of the center line of said Trunk Highway No. 55; thence run
West at right angles to said East line for a distance of 45 feet; thence deflect
left at an angle of 90 degrees for a distance of 292.02 feet; thence deflect
right along a tangential curve having a radius of 36.0 feet for a distance of 35
feet more or less to the North line of said Trunk Highway No. 55 and there
terminating, according to the Untied States Government Survey thereof and
situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota.

That part of the East 150 feet of the West 555 feet of the South 216.4 feet of

Range 21 which lies northerly of Golden Valley Road as shown on County
Commissioners Proceedings dated April 27, 1925.

The Easterly nine (9) feet of the North ninety (90) feet of the South 216.4 feet
of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter lying East of the West 555
feet thereof and West of the East 200 feet thereof, Section 31, Township 118
North, Range 21 West, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
And
That part of Maren Lane and Winnetka Avenue as dedicated in OLSEN
MANOR, according to the plat thereof on file or of record in the office of the
Registrar of Titles in and for said County.
And
That part of Maren Lane and Wisconsin Avenue as dedicated in GOLDEN
VALLEY STATE BANK ADDITION, according to the plat thereof on file or of
record in the office of the Registrar of Titles in and for said County, except that
part vacated by Court Order filed as Document No. 1814163.

thence North parallel with the East line of said Southeast Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter, a distance of 216.40 feet; thence West parallel with the.
South line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter to the East line
of the West 555.00 feet of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter,
thence South along the last mentioned East line to the South line of said
Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence East along said South
line to the point of beginning, according to the Government Survey thereof.

1/4 of Section 31, Township 118 North, Range 21 West of the 5th Principal
Meridian, and that part of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 31, Township 118,
Range 21, lying North of 6th Avenue North and lying between the Southerly
extension of the East and West lines of the West 10 rods of the Southeast 1/4
of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 31, according to the United States
Government Survey thereof and situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Golden Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and
approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to
sign the original of said plat and to do all other things necessary and proper in the
premises.

and upon a vote thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: ; and the
following voted against the same: ; whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
