97-036 - 03-18 Reapproval of Plat-Valley Square 3rd Addition Resolution 97-36 March 18, 1997 Member Russell introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR REAPPROVAL OF PLAT - VALLEY SQUARE 3RD ADDITION WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley (the Council), pursuant to due notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as Valley Square 3rd Addition, on October 1, 1996; and WHEREAS, the Council subsequently adopted Resolution 96-99 Approving Plat of Valley Square 3rd Addition on November 19, 1996; and WHEREAS, said plat was submitted to Hennepin County for review prior to filing and the Hennepin County staff requested revisions to the plat related to the roads (Maren Lane, Golden Valley Road and Golden Valley Drive) in the plat and the location of the plat boundary on the north side of the creek; and WHEREAS, said revisions caused the legal description of said plat to change, even though the nature of the plat has not changed and the land included within the plat (excluding roads) has not changed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that the plat as revised is accepted and approved with the following legal description: Lot 6, OLSEN MANOR. And The Westerly 9 feet of the following described land: That part of Lot 12, OLSEN MANOR, lying East of a line drawn from a point on the South line of said Lot 12, distant 42.25 feet West of the southeast corner thereof, to a point in the North line of said Lot 12, distant 42.1 feet West of the Northeast corner thereof. And Lot 5, OLSEN MANOR. And Lots 7 to 11 inclusive, and that part of Lot 12, lying West of a line drawn from a point in the South line of said Lot 12, distant 42.25 feet West of the Southeast corner thereof, to a point in the North line of said Lot 12, distant 42.1 feet West of the Northeast corner thereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original of said plat and to do all other things necessary and proper in the premises.
