Member LeSuer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN MAP
RESPECTING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 9011, 9039 AND 9105 MEDICINE LAKE ROAD
WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly
published with respect to the subject matter hereof and has heard all interested persons,
and it appearing in the interest of the public that the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Map
as heretofore adopted and enacted by the City of Golden Valley be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Golden
Valley, that pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 11.90, Subd. 7 of the City Code for the
City of Golden Valley, and subject to review and approval by the Metropolitan Council for
conformity with regional systems plan as provided in state law, the Comprehensive Land
Use Plan Map for the City of Golden Valley is hereby amended by changing from a
residential low density use to a medium density use as the official land use designation for
the property located at and legally described as follows:
The east 110 feet of the north 495.00 feet of the west 1320 feet of the Northwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter Section 30, Township 118, Range 21, Hennepin
County, Minnesota.
and also
That part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 30, Township 118, Range 21,
Hennepin County, Minnesota described as follows; more particularly described as
fol lows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said Section 30, Thence South 88 degrees
48 minutes 45 seconds East along the North line of said Section 30, 1320 feet to
the point of beginning therein; thence continuing along said north line South 88
degrees 48 minutes 45 seconds West, 410.00 feet; thence North 01 degrees 11
minutes 15 seconds East, 495.00 feet to the point of beginning herein.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Micks
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Johnson, LeSuer, Micks and Russell; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
