97-063 - 10-07 Amendment to Comp Land Use Plan Map for 5650 & 5800 St. Croix Ave N Resolution 97-63 October 7, 1997 Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN MAP RESPECTING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5650 AND 5800 ST. CROIX AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published with respect to the subject matter hereof and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing in the interest of the public that the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Map as heretofore adopted and enacted by the City of Golden Valley be amended. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, that pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 11.90, Subd. 7 of the City Code for the City of Golden Valley, and subject to review and approval by the Metropolitan Council for conformity with regional systems plan as provided in state law, the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Map for the City of Golden Valley is hereby amended by changing from the Medium Density Residential Uses and Industrial/ Terminal Warehouse/Radio Uses to High Density Residential the official land use designation for the properties located at and legally described as follows: The North 75 feet of the East 350.29 feet as measured along the north line thereof of Lot 7, Block 1, HIPP'S GRACEFUL PLAZA ADDITION, according to the plat thereof on file or of record in the office of the Registrar of Titles in and for Hennepin County, Minnesota. and That part of Government Lot Three (3) in Section Twenty-eight (28), Township One Hundred Eighteen (118), Range Twenty-One (21) described as follows, to-wit: Commencing at a point 625 feet West of the East line of said Government Lot three (3) and 267.8 feet north of the north line of the Medicine Lake Road; thence north parallel with said east line of said Government Lot Three (3) a distance of 49.8 feet; Thence deflecting to the left 56 degrees 55 minutes, and running Northwesterly 417.9 feet; thence South parallel with the east line of said Government Lot Three (3) 288 feet to a point 267.8 feet North of the North line of said Medicine Lake Road; thence East 350 feet to the point of beginning. and Lot 3, Block 1, Bassett's Creek Plaza, Phase 3, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
