97-100 - 12-16 Easement Vacation - Hidden Lakes PUD No. 74 Resolution 97-100 December 16, 1997
Member LeSuer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR EASEMENT VACATION - HIDDEN LAKES P.U.D. #74
WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly
published with respect to the subject matter hereof and has heard all interested persons,
and it appearing in the interest of the public that certain utility and access easements be
vacated; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley that certain utility and access easements over and across portions of Hidden Lakes,
P.U.D. #74, described below, which lies within the corporate limits of the City, is hereby
vacated:
PROPOSED DESCRIPTION OF ACCESS EASEMENT TO BE VACATED:
That part of the 40.00 foot wide access easement, as described in Document No. 784906,
and over parts of Lots 2, 4, 5, Block 1, and Outlot A, GOLDEN VALLEY HEALTH
CENTER P.U.D. N0. 45, Hennepin County Minnesota, the centerline of said easement,
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of Outlot A, said GOLDEN VALLEY HEALTH
CENTER P.U.D. NO. 45, Thence South 00 degrees 13 minutes 45 seconds West,
assumed bearing, and along the east line of said Outlot A, a distance of 208.88 feet to the
point of beginning of the centerline to be described; Thence North 42 degrees 46 minutes
15 seconds West, a distance of 29.33 feet; Thence North 00 degrees 13 minutes 45
seconds East a distance of 199.33 feet; Thence North 59 degrees 00 minutes 15 seconds
West, a distance of 308.06 feet; Thence North 36 degrees 13 minutes 45 seconds East, a
distance of 45.00 feet; Thence along a tangential curve, concave to the northwest, a
distance of 284.36 feet said curve has a central angle of 31 degrees 02 minutes 32
seconds and a radius of 524.85 feet; Thence North 00 degrees 13 minutes 45 seconds
East, not tangent to last described curve, a distance of 219.35 feet to the northwesterly
line of said Lot 4 and there terminating. The sidelines of said easement are lengthened or
shortened to terminate on the northwesterly line of said Lot 4 and the northeasterly line of
said Lot 2.
PROPOSED DESCRIPTION OF SEWER AND WATER EASEMENT TO BE VACATED:
That part of the 40.00 foot wide sewer and water easement, as described in Document No.
784906, and over parts of Lots 2, 4, 5, Block 1, and Outlot A., GOLDEN VALLEY HEALTH
CENTER P.U.D. N0. 45, Hennepin County Minnesota, the centerline, of said easement,
more particularly described as follows:

15 seconds West, a distance of 29.33 feet; Thence North 00 degrees 13 minutes 45
seconds East a distance of 199.33 feet; Thence North 59 degrees 00 minutes 15 seconds
West, a distance of 262.06 feet; Thence North 28 degrees 26 minutes 45 seconds East, a
distance of 274.50 feet; Thence North 06 degrees 33 minutes 15 seconds West, a
distance of 307.08 feet to the northwesterly line of said Lot 4 and there terminating. The
side lines of said easement are lengthened or shortened to terminate on the northwesterly
line of said Lot 4 and the northeasterly line of said Lot 2.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Micks
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Johnson, LeSuer, Micks and Russell; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
