Member LeSuer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT
1998 STREET PROGRAM
WHEREAS, it is proposed to reconstruct the streets listed below and to assess the
benefited properties pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 for the following streets:
• 95 SI 2 Ottawa Avenue South: Circle Down to Glenwood Avenue
• 95 SI 3 Circle Down: Ottawa Avenue South to Natchez Avenue South
• 95 SI 6 North Tyrol Trail: Meadow Lane South to Parkview Terrace
• 95 SI 8 Natchez Avenue North: Circle Down to Glenwood Avenue
• 98 SI 1 Lowry Terrace: Quail Avenue North to Noble Avenue North (Frontage Road)
• 98 SI 2 Triton Drive: Regent Avenue North to Noble Avenue North (Frontage Road)
• 98 SI 3 Janalyn Circle (South): Glencrest Road to Meadow Lane South
• 98 SI 4 Meadow Lane South: Glenwood Avenue to Parkview Terrace
• 98 SI 5 Parkview Terrace: Glenwood Avenue to North Tyrol Trail
• 98 SI 6 Glenwood Parkway: Zenith Avenue North to Xerxes Avenue North
• 98 SI 7 North Manor Area; Byrd Avenue North: Parkview Boulevard to 26�" Avenue
North; McNair Drive: Byrd Avenue North to 26th Avenue North; Parkview Boulevard:
Manor Drive to 26th Avenue North; Meridian Drive: Terrace Lane to 26th Avenue North;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, Minnesota that the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer for
study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising
the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and
as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Johnson
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Johnson, LeSuer, Micks and Russell; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
