RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT
1999 STREET PROGRAM
WHEREAS, it is proposed to reconstruct the streets listed below and to assess the benefited
properties pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 for the following streets:
• Colorado Avenue North, Westbrook Road to Wynnwood Road
• Manchester Drive, Cul-de-sac to Lamplighter Lane
• Heritage Circle, Cul-de-sac to Brunswick Avenue North
• Kentley Avenue, Vale Crest Road to Vera Cruz Avenue
• Vera Cruz Avenue, Kentley Avenue to North City Limits
• Lamplighter Lane, North City Limits to Zane Avenue North
• Brunswick Avenue North, St. Croix Avenue to Medicine Lake Road
• Wynnwood Road, Douglas Drive to Zane Avenue North
• Westbrook Road, Colorado Avenue North to Lilac Drive
• Zane Avenue North, North City Limits to Cul-de-sac
• Brookridge Avenue, North City Limits to Westbrook Road
• Vale Crest Road, North City Limits to Cul-de-sac
• Westmore Way, Brunswick Avenue North to Zane Avenue North
• Kenneth Way, Brunswick Avenue North to Adair Avenue
• Adair Avenue, Kenneth Way to Cul-de-sac

• Oak Grove Circle, Cul-de-sac to Golden Valley Road
• Lilac Drive, Duluth Street to Westbrook Drive
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, Minnesota that the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer for study
and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council
in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it
should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member LeSuer and upon a
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, LeSuer
and Micks; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared
duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
