Member Micks introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF PLAT - GOLDEN HILLS WEST 4TH ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice,
has hereto fore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as Golden
Hills West 4th Addition covering the following described tracts of land:
All that part of vacated Colorado Circle lying East of Colorado Avenue South, as dedicated
in the plat of MERCHANT'S INDUSTRIAL PARK.
AND
That part of Government Lot 3, Section 4, Township 117, Range 21, described as
beginning at a point on the north line of County Road No. 41, 362.00 feet east of the west
line of said Section 4; thence north parallel with the west line of said Section 4, a distance
of 312.6 feet; thence east parallel with said north line of County Road No. 41, a distance of
100.08 feet to a line 462.00 feet east of and parallel with said west line of Section 4. thence
south along the last described parallel line, a distance 312.6 feet to said north line of
County Road No. 41; thence west along said north line of County Road No. 41, a distance
of 100.08 feet to the point of beginning.

commencing at the point of intersection of the north line of County Road No. 41 (formerly
Wayzata Boulevard and Superior Boulevard) as the same was originally laid out, with a line
parallel with and distant 190 feet, measured at right angles, northwesterly from the most
southeasterly main track center line of Minneapolis, Northfield and Southern Railway, as
the same is now located and established across said Lot 3; thence west along the north
line of said Boulevard or County Road No. 41, a distance of 95.00 feet to the point of
beginning of the tract of land to be described, said point of beginning being the southwest
corner of property described in deeds recorded in the Office of the Register of Deeds,
Hennepin County, Minnesota in Book 2037 of Deeds, on pages 405, 410 and 411; thence
west along said north line of County Road No. 41 to the intersection with a line 682.00 feet
east of and parallel with the west line of said Section 4; thence north parallel with said west

Beginning at a point in the North line of old Wayzata Boulevard 362 feet East of the West
line of said Government Lot 3; thence North on a line parallel with the West line of said
Government Lot 3 a distance of 312.6 feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract of
land to be described, said actual point of beginning being a point in a line drawn parallel
with the North line of old Wayzata Boulevard from a point in a line running parallel with and
30 feet West measured at right angles to the Northwesterly right-of-way line of the
Minneapolis, Northfield and Southern Railway which last mentioned point is 346.3 feet
Northeasterly measured along said last mentioned parallel line from its intersection with the
North line of Old Wayzata Boulevard; thence East on a line running parallel with the North
line of old Wayzata Boulevard a distance of 672.98 feet; thence North on a line running
parallel with the West line of said Government Lot 3 to its intersection with a line running

WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and
the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original of
said plat and to do all other things necessary and proper in the premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member LeSuer
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Bakken, Johnson, LeSuer, and Micks; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
