99-007 - 02-02 - Revoking Municipal State Aid Streets - Turner's Crossroad, T.H. 12 to 775 Feet North of Glenwood Ave; Wayzata Blvd, Colorado Ave to Turner's Crossroad; and Laurel Ave, Xenia Ave South to Turner's Crossroad Resolution 99-7 February 2, 1999 Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION REVOKING MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS TURNER'S CROSSROAD, T.H. 12 TO 775 FEET NORTH OF GLENWOOD AVENUE; WAYZATA BOULEVARD, COLORADO AVENUE TO TURNER'S CROSSROAD; AND LAUREL AVENUE, XENIA AVENUE SOUTH TO TURNER'S CROSSROAD WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that the roads hereinafter described as Municipal State Aid Streets under the provisions of Minnesota Laws; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that the roads described as follows, to-wit: MSA 332 Turner's Crossroad from TH 12 to 755 feet North of Glenwood Avenue MSA 393 Wayzata Boulevard from Colorado Avenue to Turner's Crossroad MSA 406 Laurel Avenue from Xenia Avenue South to Turner's Crossroad be, and hereby are, revoked as Municipal State Aid Streets of said City subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for his/her consideration.
