Member LeSuer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING NEW MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS
COLORADO AVENUE SOUTH, NORTH FRONTAGE ROAD TO
GOLDEN HILLS DRIVE, GOLDEN HILLS DRIVE, COLORADO AVENUE SOUTH
TO XENIA AVENUE SOUTH; XENIA AVENUE SOUTH,
SOUTH CITY LIMITS TO 775 FEET NORTH OF GLENWOOD AVENUE
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that Golden
Hills Drive, hereinafter described should be designated as a Municipal State Aid Street
under the provisions of Minnesota law.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that the
streets hereinafter described should be designated as a Municipal State Aid Streets under
the provisions of Minnesota law.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley that the roads described as follows, to-wit:
Extension of MSA 393: Colorado Avenue South from North Frontage Road to
Golden Hills Drive, thence Golden Hills Drive from Colorado Avenue South to Xenia
Avenue South
Extension of MSA 332: Xenia Avenue South from South City Limits to 775 feet
North of Glenwood Avenue
be, and hereby are established, located, and designated as Municipal State Aid Streets of
said City, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of
Minnesota.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for
his/her consideration, and that upon his/her approval of the designation of said roads or
portion thereof, that same be constructed, improved and maintained as a Municipal State
Aid Streets of the City of Golden Valley, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid
Highway 393 and 332, respectively.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Bakken
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Bakken, Johnson, and LeSuer; and the following voted against the same: Micks,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
