99-011 - 02-02 - Approval of Plat - Schaper Addition Resolution 99-11 February 2, 1999 Member LeSuer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF PLAT- SCHAPER ADDITION WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as the SCHAPER ADDITION covering the following described tracts of land: That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, Section 19, Township 29, Range 24 described as beginning at a point on the South line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter distant 487.29 feet West from the Southeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence West along said South line a distance of 387 feet; thence North parallel with the East line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, a distance of 650 feet; thence East parallel with said South line a distance of 120 feet; thence South parallel with said East line a distance of 457 feet; thence East parallel with said South line a distance of 267 feet; thence South parallel with said East line a distance of 193 feet to the point of beginning, according to the Government Survey thereof. That part of Outlot A, SCHAPER NATURAL AREA, lying East of the West 565.71 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 19, Township 29, Range 24, except that part thereof which lies West and South of a line described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence West along the South line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, a distance of 310 feet; thence North parallel with the East line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, a distance of 455 feet; thence West parallel with said South line, a distance of 444.29 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence North, parallel with said East line a distance of 300 feet, thence West parallel with said South line to the East line of the West 565.71 feet of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and said line there terminating. AND That part of Outlot A, SCHAPER NATURAL AREA, lying within the Westerly 565.71 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 19, Township 29, Range 24. AND Resolution 99-11 - Continued February 2, 1999 That part of Outlot A, SCHAPER NATURAL AREA, lying east of the Westerly 565.71 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 19, Township 29, Range 24 which lies west and south of a line described as commencing at the Southeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence West along the South line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, a distance of 310 feet; thence North parallel with the East line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, a distance of 455 feet; thence West parallel with said South line, a distance of 444.29 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence North, parallel with said East line a distance of 300 feet, thence West parallel with said South line to the East line of the West 565.71 feet of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and said line there terminating. WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original of said plat and to do all other things necessary and proper in the premises. ary E. iderson, Mayor ATTEST: Shirley J. a on, City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Bakken and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, LeSuer, and Micks; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
