SMember LeSuer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ORDERING THE ACQUISITION OF PERMANENT UTILITY
EASEMENTS AND TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS FOR
THE PURPOSE OF INSTALLING SANITARY SEWER ON THE
EAST FRONTAGE ROAD OF TRUNK HIGHWAY 100, NORTH OF LOWRY TERRACE
WHEREAS, it is proposed to install sanitary sewer on the East Frontage Road of
Trunk Highway 100, north of Lowry Terrace; and to authorize acquisition of easements for
sanitary sewer construction north of Lowry Terrace. More specifically described as:
Lot 5. Block 1, R.W. Wormsbecker Addition
3218 Lilac Drive North
3230 Lilac Drive North
3240 Lilac Drive North
3250 Lilac Drive North
all in Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, Minnesota that:
• 1. City Staff and City Attorney, or such other persons as necessary, are hereby
authorized and directed to take all necessary steps and execute all necessary
documents to acquire such permanent utility easements and temporary
construction easements; and
2. In the event that the easements across the above described real property
cannot be expeditiously acquired, the city staff and City Attorney for the City
of Golden Valley are authorized to commence procedures under Minnesota
Statutes Section 117.042, to acquire such easements.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Bakken
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Bakken, Johnson, LeSuer, and Micks; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
