RESOLUTION VACATING SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT AND
DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT AT 4225 GOLDEN VALLEY ROAD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice,
has heretofore conducted public hearing on the vacation of a sanitary sewer easement and
a drainage and utility easement at 4225 Golden Valley Road; and
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley that said easement located in the property legally described below be vacated:
A strip of land running over and across all that part of the Southeast Quarter (SE '/4) of the
Northeast Quarter (NE '/) and of the Northeast Quarter (NE '/4) of the Southeast Quarter
(SE '/4) of Section Eighteen (18), Township Twenty-nine (29), Range Twenty-four (24),
described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter (NE Y4)
of the Southeast Quarter (SE '/4) of said Section Eighteen (18); thence West along the
South line of said Northeast Quarter (NE '/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE '/4) to the
Southwest corner of said Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE '/4)
• thence North along the West line of said Northeast Quarter (NE '/4) of the Southeast
Quarter (SE Y4) Eight Hundred Ninety -Three and Forty -Two Hundredths (893.42) feet;
thence East at right angles to last described line Thirty -Two and Five Tenths (32.5) feet,
thence North parallel to the West line of said Northeast Quarter (NE '/4) of the Southeast
Quarter (SE Y4) and West line of said Southeast Quarter (SE '/4) of the Northeast Quarter
(NE '/4) Eight Hundred Ninety -Six (896) feet more or less to the center line of the
Minneapolis Watertown Road, so called County Road Number Six (6); thence Easterly
along the center line of said Road to its intersection with the East line of said Section
Eighteen (18); thence South along said East line of Section Eighteen (18) to the point of
beginning. The boundaries having been marked by Judicial Land marks placed at the
Southeast and Southwest corners respectively of said land, at the intersections of the East
line and the West line respectively of said land and the South line of said road, and at
points in the respective West lines Three Hundred Seventy and Five Tenths (370.5) feet
North along the most Westerly of said lines from said Southwest corner and at a point in
the other of said lines Two Hundred Seventeen and Three Tenths (217.3) feet South along
said line from the East and West One -Quarter (1/4) line of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of
the Southeast Quarter (SE '/4) of said Section Eighteen (18); said strip of land being
Twenty (20) feet in width and lying Ten (10) feet on either side of the following described
center line: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter (NE '/4) of the
Southeast Quarter (SE '/4) of said Section Eighteen (18); thence running South along the
East line of said Northeast Quarter (NE '/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE '/4) One Hundred
Twelve and Forty -Eight Hundredths (112.48) feet to the actual point of beginning of the
center line to be described; thence deflecting to the right Ninety (90) degrees, Twenty -Six

• (26) minutes and running Westerly Six Hundred Eighty -Two and Fifty -Six Hundredths
(682.56) feet; thence deflecting to the right Nineteen (19) degrees and running
Northwesterly Two Hundred Seventy -Two (272) feet; thence deflecting to the left Fifty -
Seven (57) degrees Eight (8) minutes and running Southwesterly Two Hundred Seventy -
Seven and Six Tenths (277.6) feet; thence deflecting to the right Fifty -Five (55) degrees
Twenty -Five (25) minutes and running Northwesterly One Hundred Six and Twelve
Hundredths (106.12) feet more or less to a point in the Westerly line of the above
described tract of land, which point is Thirty -Two and Five Tenths (32.5) feet East of the
West line of said Northeast Quarter (NE '/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE Y4) and One
Hundred Fifty Eight and Three Hundredths (158.03) feet South of the North line of said
Northeast Quarter (NE Y4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4), and there terminating.
Also, a platted 20 foot wide drainage and utility easement on Lot 1, Block 1, Hidden Lakes
P.U.D. No. 74, Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Johnson
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Bakken, Johnson and LeSuer; and the following was absent: Micks; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
