99-087 - 10-05 - Vacate Portion Turners Crossroad, Turners Crossroad South, Turnpike Road to Glenwood Avenue and Turners Crossroad North, Glenwood Ave to the Canadian Pacific RailroadResolution 99-87 October 5, 1999 Member Bakken introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR STREET VACATION OF A PORTION OF TURNER'S CROSSROAD TURNER'S CROSSROAD SOUTH, TURNPIKE ROAD TO GLENWOOD AVENUE; AND TURNER'S CROSSROAD NORTH, GLENWOOD AVENUE TO THE CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILROAD WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice, has heretofore conducted public hearing on the vacation of a portion of that certain street known as Turner's Crossroad as now dedicated and laid out within the City of Golden Valley; and WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that said portions of that certain public street as described below be, and the same hereby is vacated: The West one-half (1/2) of that part of Turner's Crossroad South lying between the westerly extension of the North right-of-way line of Turnpike Road and the South right-of-way line of Glenwood Avenue and that part of Turner's Crossroad North • lying between the North right-of-way line of Glenwood Avenue and the South right- of-way line of the Canadian Pacific (Soo Line) Railroad, all lying within Section 4, Township 117, Range 21 and Section 33, Township 118, Range 21 and Section 19, Township 29, Range 24, Hennepin County, Minnesota. AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a perpetual drainage and utility easement be reserved over the entire length of said street vacation between Turnpike Road and Glenwood Avenue. Mary E.
