00-17 - 03-06 - Reconveyance Forfeited Lands to State of MN and Temp Permit to Construct TH 100 Segment II Resolution 00-17 March 6, 2000
Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RECONVEYANCE OF FORFEITED LANDS
TO THE STATE OF MINNESOTA AND THE TEMPORARY PERMIT
TO CONSTRUCT TRUNK HIGHWAY 100, SEGMENT II
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is proposing to construct a
water quality pond on property located south of Dawnview Terrace and east of T.H. 100 as
part of the T.H. 100, Segment II project in the City of Golden Valley; and
WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley finds it to be in the best interest of the public
to reconvey property as is legally described in Attachment 1 and illustrated in Attachment
2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, Minnesota that:
1. The Mayor and City Manager, or such other persons as necessary, are
hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary steps and execute all
necessary documents to reconvey the property.
2. The Mayor and City Manager authorized to execute the temporary permit to
Construct.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Bakken
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Bakken, Johnson, LeSuer and Micks; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
