00-26 - 04-18 - Authorize ROW Permit and Facility Use Agreement Metricom, Inc. Resolution 00-26 April 18, 2000
Member LeSuer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT
AND FACILITY USE AGREEMENT WITH METRICOM, INC.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, as
follows:
WHEREAS, Metricom, Inc. has approached the City of Golden Valley regarding the
placement of certain radio units on light poles and other structures with the city right of
way, in exchange for certain benefits to the city, and,
WHEREAS, the complete terms and conditions of the arrangement are set forth in
the Right of Way and Facility Use Agreement and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Golden
Valley that:
1. The Agreement is approved.
2. The Mayor and Manager are authorized and directed to sign the Agreement.
3. City staff is authorized and directed to take such actions as are reasonable
and necessary to implement the Agreement.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Johnson
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Bakken, Johnson, LeSuer and Micks; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
