00-33 - 06-06 - Vacate Alley Drainage and Utility Easement at TH 55 and Dahlberg Drive Resolution 00-33 June 6, 2000
Member LeSuer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION VACATING AN ALLEY AND CERTAIN DRAINAGE
AND UTILITY EASEMENTS AT T.H. 55 AND DAHLBERG DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice,
has heretofore conducted public hearing on the vacation of a 14 foot Alley and certain
drainage and utility easements at T.H. 55 and Dahlberg Drive.
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley that said easements located in the property legally described below be vacated:
All of the north-south alley lying southerly of the easterly extension of the northerly
line of Lot 79, and lying northerly of the easterly extension of the southerly line of Lot
78, GLENWOOD, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County,
Minnesota.
The West one-half of vacated Indiana Avenue North from the north right-of-way line
of T.H. 55 northerly 597.3 feet to the already vacated 8th Avenue North,
GLENWOOD, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
All of the vacated east-west alley lying easterly of the northerly extension of the
westerly line of Lot 77, and lying westerly of the northerly extension of the easterly
line of Lot 109, GLENWOOD, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin
County, Minnesota.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Micks
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Johnson, LeSuer and Micks; and the following was absent: Bakken, and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
