Member Bakken introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION TO RESCIND RESOLUTION NO.87-46
RESIDENT ONLY PARKING ZONE ON CIRCLE DOWN
WHEREAS, the City Council has the power and authority, pursuant to Chapter 9.11,
Subd. 5 of the City Code, to terminate resident-only parking zones and areas, and it
appears that resident-only parking zones should be terminated on certain portions of the
Circle Down and to reaffirm the removal of resident only zones on Turners Crossroad,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Golden
Valley that parking shall be permitted anytime on the north and south sides of Circle Down
from Turner's Crossroad to T.H. 100 and the east side of Turners Crossroad from Circle
Down to Radisson Road.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member LeSuer
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: none, and the
following voted against the same: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, LeSuer, and Micks;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly defeated.
