Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING ON
MAY 1, 2001 TO CONSIDER VACATION
OF A PORTION OF TURNER'S CROSSROAD
WHEREAS, adjacent to Lots 26 and 27, Block 4, Spring Green, (about 220' south of
Glenwood Avenue), the City desires to consider vacation of certain Turner's Crossroad
right-of-way legally described as follows:
The east half of the right-of-way of Turners Crossroad lying adjacent to Lots 26 and
27, Block 4, Spring Green, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the City proposes that a perpetual easement for sidewalk, berm,
drainage and utility purposes will be reserved over the entire length of said street vacation;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley hereby schedules a public hearing on May 1, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. to consider vacation
of a portion of Turner's Crossroad.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Bakken
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Bakken, Johnson, LeSuer and Micks; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
