Member Bakken introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION VACATING THE EAST HALF OF TURNER'S CROSSROADS
STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY ADJACENT TO LOTS 26 AND 27, BLOCK 4,
SPRING GREEN (ABOUT 220' SOUTH OF GLENWOOD AVENUE)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice,
has heretofore conducted public hearing on the vacation of a portion of a certain street
known as Turner's Crossroad described as follows:
The east half of the right-of-way of Turners Crossroad lying adjacent to Lots 26 and
27, Block 4, Spring Green, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the City proposes that a perpetual easement for sidewalk, berm,
drainage and utility purposes be reserved over the entire length of said street vacation;
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley that said certain public street is vacated:
The east half of the right-of-way of Turners Crossroad lying adjacent to Lots 26 and
27, Block 4, Spring Green, Hennepin County, Minnesota.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Micks
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Bakken, Johnson, LeSuer and Micks; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
