Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING ON
JUNE 5, 2001 TO CONSIDER VACATION
OF FRED PLACE, A PORTION OF JERSEY AVENUE NORTH,
AND THE ALLEYS IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY GOLF CLUB
WHEREAS, the Golden Valley Country Club has requested that certain platted
streets and alleys that are within the Club's property be vacated; and,
WHEREAS, these streets and alleys are described as follows:
The alleys, except the West 25 feet thereof and all of Fred Place, all lying within the
recorded plat of Bitzer's Place, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Also that portion of Jersey Avenue North lying southerly of the westerly extension of
the North line of Lot 349 to the Northeast corner of Lot 348, in the recorded plat of
Belmont, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley hereby schedules a public hearing on June 5, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. to consider the
proposed request.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Bakken
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Bakken, Johnson, LeSuer and Micks; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
