01-39 - 07-10 - Approve Plat Lions Park Addition Resolution 01-39 July 10, 2001 Member LeSuer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF PLAT - LIONS PARK ADDITION WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as Lions Park Addition covering the following described tracts of land: That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 118, Range 21, described as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence South on the west line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, a distance of 528.3 feet; thence East parallel with the north line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter a distance of 123.7 feet; thence North parallel with the west line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, a distance of 528.3 feet to the north line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence west on said north line a distance of 123.7 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1'/2 acres, more or less, subject however, to the rights of the public to use Harold Avenue as a public street or highway. Lot 64, AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISION NO. 322, Hennepin County, Minnesota. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original of said plat and to do all other things necessary and proper in the premises. ary E. nderson, Mayor ATTEST: Shirley J. \ el on, City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Micks and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Johnson, LeSuer, and Micks; and the following was absent: Bakken, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
