01-42 - 07-17 - Amend Comp Plan 5431 Glenwood Avenue, 21 Turners Crossroad South and East Half of Turners Crossroad South Adjacent to 5431 Glenwood Avenue and 21 Turners Crossroad S Resolution 01-42 July 17, 2001 Member LeSuer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption.- RESOLUTION doption:RESOLUTION FOR AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN MAP RESPECTING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5431 GLENWOOD AVENUE, 21 TURNERS CROSSROAD SOUTH, AND EAST HALF OF TURNERS CROSSROAD SOUTH ADJACENT TO 5431 GLENWOOD AVENUE AND 21 TURNERS CROSSROAD SOUTH WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly published with respect to the subject matter hereof and has heard all interested persons, and it appearing in the interest of the public that the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Map as heretofore adopted and enacted by the City of Golden Valley be amended. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, that pursuant to the provision of chapter 11.90, Subd. 7 of the City Code for the City of Golden Valley, and subject to review and approval by the Metropolitan Council for conformity with regional systems plan as provided in state law, the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Map for the City of Golden Valley is hereby amended by changing the Low Density Residential to Schools and Religious Facilities use as the official land use designation for the property located at and legally described as follows: North Lot: 5431 Glenwood Avenue - Lot 27, Block 4, SPRING GREEN South Lot: 21 Turners Crossroad South - Lot 26, Block 4, SPRING GREEN Vacated Area: East half of Turners Crossroad South adjacent to lots 26 and 27, Block 4, SPRING GREEN (From Glenwood to a point 220 feet south of Glenwood.) Mary E. nderson, Mayor ATTEST: Shirley J. on, City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Bakken and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, LeSuer and Micks; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
