01-46 - 07-17 - Street Vacation Portion Wayzata Blvd Service Road and Flag Ave S Resolution 01-46 July 17, 2001 Member Bakken introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CORRECTING RESOLUTION FOR STREET VACATION OF A PORTION OF WAYZATA BOULEVARD SERVICE ROAD AND FLAG AVENUE SOUTH WHEREAS, on May 15, 2001 the City Council of the City of Golden Valley adopted Resolution 01-30, vacating a portion of Wayzata Boulevard Service Road and Flag Avenue South after giving due notice thereof, conducting a public hearing thereon and giving all persons present an opportunity to be heard; and WHEREAS, the Registrar of Titles in and for Hennepin County has requested that a different legal description to be used for the vacation of such streets; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that the following portions of certain public streets as described below be, and the same hereby are vacated: That portion of U.S. Highway 12 (a.k.a. Wayzata Boulevard Service Road), as shown on the plat of MURRI-MAC INDUSTRIAL PARK ADDITIONA-REPLAT, lying on the South side of U.S. Highway 12 (a.k.a. Wayzata Boulevard), between Flag Avenue South and General Mills Boulevard and that portion of Flag Avenue South lying between U.S. Highway No. 12 (a.k.a. Wayzata Boulevard Service Road) and the South Frontage road of 1-394 (a.k.a. Miller Street), all lying within Section 6, Township 117, Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota. AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a perpetual drainage and utility easement be reserved over the entire length of said vacated streets, and that said streets shall remain open as public roadways until the earlier of September 1, 2002 or the date the abutting landowners agree that they may be closed. ai Mary E.I(nderson, Mayor ATTEST: Shirley J.
