Member LeSuer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF PLAT -
GENERAL MILLS SECOND ADDITION P.U.D. NO. 94
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice,
has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as the
General Mills Second Addition P.U.D. NO. 94 covering the following described tracts of
land:
That part of the South half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section
31, Township 118, Range 21, lying Southerly of the Northerly Right-Of-Way line of Betty
Crocker Drive as described in Document No. 1006455, EXCEPT that part designated as
Parcel 1, Minnesota Department of Transportation Right-Of-Way Plat No. 27-25, according
to the Government Survey thereof.

and
That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 118,
Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota, designated as Parcel 1, Minnesota Department of
Transportation Right-Of-Way Plat No. 27-25.

All that part of the East one-half (E '/2) of the Northwest one-quarter (NW '/4) of Section 6,
Township 117, Range 21, lying Northerly and Westerly of Minnesota Department of

All that part of the West one-half (W '/2) of the Northwest one-quarter (NW '/4) of Section 6,
Township 117, Range 21, lying Northerly and Easterly of Minnesota Department of
Transportation Right-Of-Way Plat No. 27-24.

That part of the South half of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter, Section 31,
Township 118, Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota lying southerly of the following
described line:

Commencing at the southwest corner of said Section 31; thence North 00 degrees 24
minutes 54 seconds West along the west line of said southwest quarter a distance of
284.09 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence North 86 degrees
24 minutes 36 seconds East a distance of 117.35 feet; thence Northeasterly a distance of
244.65 feet along a tangential curve concave to the north having a radius of 584.07 feet
and a central angle of 24 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds; thence South 27 degrees 35
minutes 24 seconds East, not tangent to the last curve a distance of 25.00 feet; thence
North 62 degrees 24 minutes 36 seconds East a distance of 202.83 feet; thence South 27
degrees 35 minutes 24 seconds East a distance of 10.00 feet to the north right of way line
of Betty Crocker Drive; thence northeasterly along said northerly right of way line a
distance of 723.81 on a nontangential curve concave to the south having a radius of
1240.00 feet, a central angle 33 degrees 26 minutes 40 seconds and a chord bearing of
North 79 degrees 07 minutes 56 seconds East; thence continuing easterly along said north
right of way line a distance of 54.29 feet on a compound curve having a radius of 1055.46
feet and a central angle of 02 degrees 56 minutes 49 seconds to the east line of said
Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and said line there terminating.
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and
the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original of
said plat and to do all other things necessary and proper in the premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Bakken
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson,
Bakken, Johnson, LeSuer and Micks; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
