Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES AS PROVIDED IN THE CITY CODE
WHEREAS, the City code provides for fees to be established by resolution for
permits, licenses, goods and services as provided therein; and
WHEREAS, fees need to be revised in keeping with the 2002 adopted budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, that the fees as set forth in Exhibit A, "City of Golden Valley Fees" are hereby
established effective January 1, 2002, or otherwise noted, and supercede fees previously
established.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Grayson
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Grayson,

and her signature attested by the City Clerk.

Building Permit & Fire Fees based on 1997 UBC Fee Schedule
0 Mandatory State Surcharge per permit is a minimum of .50 and when a permit fee is over
$1,000 in value the state surcharge is .0005 x the permit value.
0 Permit Cancellation Policy: 80 percent of permit fee will be returned upon written notice of
cancellation. If job has been started no refund will be made. No surcharge or plan review
fees will be returned which includes the fees for grading, drainage, erosion control, ROW and
tree preservation permits.
